MIYAZATO Laboratory
Research theme and policy
- 1)Theme
- ・Maintenance of infrastructure used reinforced concrete;
・Green concrete mixed with by-products
・New construction materials using FRTP and 3D printing
- 2)Policy
- Based on the SDGs, maintenance technologies for safe continued use
of infrastructure such as roads, railways, ports, energy facilities, and
buildings, as well as eco-friendly technologies can be developed. For example,
technologies to ensure the safety of bridges and buildings and systems
to extend their lifespan may be developed, extending the lifespan of structures.
In addition, technologies will be developed to recycle and reuse by-products
as concrete materials, promoting carbon neutrality. Such desired results
for local communities and the global environment will be implemented in
society. International students should discover issues that will contribute
to the development and sustainability of their own countries and regions,
and use these as a theme to try to solve them through experiments, analysis,
field surveys, etc. Then, they will use the latest and most advanced research
facilities to promote their research, while also discussing with professors
through monthly seminars and academic presentations to make progress.
- 3)Eliminate your worries about entering graduate school
・If you study abroad at graduate school, regardless of whether it is a master's or doctoral course, you can earn the credits required for graduation by taking courses taught in English alone. - ・Kanazawa offers traditional Japanese culture and delicious Japanese food.
・Kanazawa Institute of Technology has advanced research facilities that students from all departments can use.
